RECORD OF THE WEEK

Alive II is the second live album (and 8th overall) by American band Kiss, released on October 14, 1977 by Casablanca Records.

The band had released three albums (Destroyer, Rock and Roll Over, and Love Gun) since the previous live outing, the 1975 release Alive!, and the band drew upon the variety of new tracks.

Coming off of a period of extensive touring, Alive II received a huge fan response and critical acclaim, reaching the No. 7 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The album has received praise from several critics.

If you want to get any party going with Rock filled adrenaline, Atomic highly reconmends you take this live double album for a spind and watch the house come "ALIVE".

COMIC OF THE WEEK

Detroit Metal City

(Japanese: デトロイト・メタル・シティ)

is a vulgar comedy manga series by Kiminori Wakasugi, serialized in Young Animal from 2005 to 2010.

We have volumes one to five in store in their original Japanese language and Manga layout (right to left).

The series takes its name from the KISS single "Detroit Rock City".

Soichi Negishi is a shy young musician who dreams of a career in pop. Dreams don't pay the bills, so he's ended up as the lead singer and guitarist of a blackened death metal band, "Detroit Metal City."

Reader discretion is advised!
